Description: This fun and creative Junk Mail Book is the ultimate recycling project. In this workshop Laura will show you how to Recycle your junk mail to create a wacky, whimsical, one-of-a-kind Junk Journal. After this workshop you will be hard pressed to throw away your junk mail…..you will definitely want to Recycle it in this very creative way. Start saving those postcards, small flyers, and solicitations. Go ahead and open your mail carefully to preserve the envelope, but you can also leave mail inside to create some bulk. I especially like the business envelopes with various security prints inside. Also, you may want to include something with your address or some special personal mail. We will paint, decorate, and add images, paper scraps, ephemera, ribbons, and pens to embellish our envelope pages. Adding some machine stitching is fun and gives another texture.
