Join artists Dee Gray and Patti Euler for an immersive mixed-media collage workshop where intuition leads and creativity unfolds layer by layer. You’ll slow down, listen inward, and translate memory, thought, and feeling into visual form.
Working with hand-dyed papers, vintage textiles and ephemera, gold leaf, expressive imagery, meaningful script, wax stamping, and pressed botanicals, you’ll create four one-of-a-kind, frame-ready collages that reflect your personal story and artistic voice. Each piece becomes a visual echo—an imprint of what’s stirring within.
This hands-on experience explores composition, texture, layering, and distressing techniques, with an emphasis on intuitive design and personal expression. The process is exploratory and freeing, allowing beauty to emerge through discovery rather than perfection. Echoes of the Soul is rooted in the idea that our thoughts and beliefs—often formed beneath conscious awareness—shape our lives. Through guided reflection and visual association, collage becomes a powerful tool for insight and transformation, helping you bring awareness to what surfaces and consciously invite what you wish to create.
Whether you’re new to mixed media or a seasoned artist, you’ll leave inspired, skill-expanded, and with four expressive collages—one beautifully framed and three mounted and ready to frame. No prior art experience is needed—just a willingness to explore and create.
A Special Note for Returning Echoes of the Soul Artists:
This session features all new imagery and word phrases, plus a larger-format creative challenge and expanded embellishment options, including wax stamping and dried botanicals.

Students Bring: Please bring only the following student supplies
- Detail Scissors and X-Acto Blade (with extra #11 blades)
- Self Healing Cutting Mat
- Matte Medium (we recommend Golden brand) or Matte Mod Podge
- Two Synthetic Paint Brushes (1-inch flat; please no “chip” brushes)
- Ink Blending tool with foam blending Pads
- Paper towels
- Water jar
- Tweezers
