Unbleached abaca fiber is commonly used for papermaking. Abaca is harvested from a plant in the banana tree family. It adds strength and a creamy tan color with natural fleck to handmade paper.
Sheets are trimmed to 8″ x 12″ pieces for easy handling and storage. Abaca rehydrates easily and can be pulped in the kitchen blender. Tip sheet included.
