Although this heart-full project is just in time for Valentine’s Day, hearts can be used any time of the year. The heart is the symbol of the highest human emotions, love, truth, conscious, gratitude, and moral courage. It has been used in art for many centuries. With this project we just put our own spin on it.
In this workshop we will be using a variety of heart shapes and sizes as our focus and inspiration. A selection of papers and paints will bring your hearts alive with color and patterns. Your artwork will be mounted on a 10x10 panel.
You can choose from the bee paper or the multicolor hearts. If you have something from your own stash that you would like to use, please bring it along.
Special thanks to Sue Norwood for cutting all the squares and heart sizes and her design of the bee hearts.
