Color fills the world around us; it pushes and pulls us without us even thinking about it, and it is often misunderstood. This class has been developed as an introduction to color theory, paint mixing, and blending techniques. We will be discussing fundamental elements of color and how to apply them to your artwork. The skills and knowledge that you will learn in this class will have applications across all the art you enjoy doing. We be using the new Golden SoFlat Acrylics on three 9”x12” canvas panels to create warm, cool, and neutral backdrops for a stamped image. All the materials needed for the class will be provided, including a large maple leaf ArtFoamie designed for The Queen’s Ink by Anna, which you get to keep!
What you should bring if you are able:
Paint brush with soft bristles. (3/4”+ is recommended) A couple sizes would be nice to have.
