Workshop | Decorative Cigar Box
Friday, April 12th, 2019
Time: 10:30 - 5:00
Instructor: Patti Euler
Class Fee: $52
Patti's love of altering cigar boxes hasn't wained (yet), we have been offering this class for over seven years and will continue offering it every few months as demand dictates.
In this all day workshop, Patti will teach you the paper engineering techniques that result in a beautiful embellished cigar box, taking into account the foil decorations already on the box, and the accurate cutting and placement of paper required to achieve stunning results. All your adhesives and embellishments as well as paper, brass feet and the cigar box are included in the Fee. The boxes pictured here are only representative of the gorgeous finished product you will create. You can see many more examples in our shop. Each time this class is offered, different paper collections will be used as they are released by our paper manufacturers. Paper is seasonal and it changes all the time. You can be assured of several collections from which to choose... all stunning.
Students must bring the following:
Supply List: Self-healing cutting mat, x-acto knife and sharp scissors. A nonstick craft sheet, a paper trimmer that will accommodate at least 12" paper, a ruler (we recommend the Tim Holtz gridded plastic ruler with metal edge) and an ink blending tools with foam. We carry a variety of paper trimmers and supplies should you need them. We do have a few to share.
Please call if you have any questions about the class or supplies needed.
