Make a special event or a vacation memorable and fashion a creative way to share your experiences with others. You could even create a journal before a vacation, wedding, anniversary, birthday, or retirement, and bring it with you to write, draw, paint, and add paper memorabilia. Have a special theme in mind, garden, fashion, favorite books? The uses for this journal are endless!
In this all-day workshop you will create various backgrounds using paints, spray inks, decorative paper, tape, ephemera, and mementos. We will be using watercolor paper to create soft but very sturdy covers. You will use various folds, pockets, tip-ins, and other fun ways to create visual interest and texture. Your journals will be bound with a basic pamphlet stitch.
Your journal will now be ready to use, and you will continue to add to it during your travels or event. Photos will add to your story!
